"All About Horses" Day Camp
We welcome guests from outside Canada for residential camp. Please send email or phone for more information. We have hosted popular residential camp programs since 1990.
Information for guests from overseas and outside Canada.
- "All About Horses" Day Camp runs as a three day program (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) each week throughout July and August.
- Our main program is for 7 to 15 year olds.
- Campers are divided into age groups: 7-8, 9-12 and 13-15 as well as levels.
- Pre-registration is required.
- Hours: 9 to 5 daily. Flexible drop off and pick up times.
- Campers bring lunch and snacks.
- Riders must wear approved helmets and boots with heels which are supplied by the farm.
- Two hour-long lessons each day, plus a 1/2 hour practice ride.
- We have highly-qualified, experienced instructors.
- In
addition to riding, grooming and caring for the horses, daily
activities such as crafts and games all focus on horse related
themes that make learning fun. - Please contact us to request camp rates.
- Groups are small and closely supervised.
- Please
contact us to discuss possibilities for children under 7 or over 15.
Residential
camp programs
are also available throughout the school
year.
Weekend, Winter Break, and March Break sessions offer a chance to experience
"real" life on the farm.
